In Metal Gear Solid, FOXDIE is injected into Solid Snake by Dr. Naomi Hunter before he arrives at Shadow Moses. The deaths of Donald Anderson and Kenneth Baker are not caused by FOXDIE; Anderson is killed by Decoy Octopus and Baker by Revolver Ocelot.
